How to add images
Palette offers an image gallery where you can manage your media items. To get started, click on 'Images' from the left navigation bar.
If you have previously uploaded images, you will see a list containing the uploaded images. The list is ordered by most recent image first.

Adding an image
To add image, click on the 'Add image' button. A window will appear asking you to either 'drag & drop' an image or select on from your local computer. Locate the image and upload it. You can drag and drop multiple images at one time. Once the file(s) has been uploaded, the image list will update with the image(s) you just uploaded, the most recent appearing at the top of the list. Recommended image size is below 3MB. Palette will alert you if the file size is too large.
Course page banner images
Before you add banner images via CSV upload, you must add the image with the same file name as listed in the banner_image column in the CSV. This is case sensitive. Make sure you include the extension in both the image file name and the CSV file column e.g. .jpg, .jpeg or .png. Once you have added the required images to the gallery and successfully uploaded the course information, the banner image will appear on the course page. If you upload an image with the same name as an existing file, courses using that image will update to the most recent image.
As an alternative to matching the image file name to the CSV data, you can upload images and insert the image link into the CSV by clicking the blue 'copy URL' icon to the right side of the image record once uploaded into the gallery.
