CSV upload troubleshooting
Course information provided in the CSV file must be in the designated format in the CSV import instructions with no errors, to ensure a successful upload.
A CSV import will continue until the system hits a row with an error. E.g. in the example below, all courses in rows 1-12 will have uploaded successfully.
Common errors
- Required fields (according to CSV upload instructions) left blank, for example Identifier, Title or Description.
- Additional spaces before or after course information. If additional spaces are in a link, the error will appear like the example above. If spaces are in a date field, or at the end of text, they may appear as the example below.

- Errors in date formats will appear like example below. This may be due to additional spaces or the date being in the wrong format, e.g. 30/09/2023 instead of 2023/09. Please double check the CSV import instructions when adding information to ensure this is correct.

- Missing tags in HTML
- Some errors may be harder to identify, e.g. the example below. If you are unsure of what an error means, please screenshot and contact your named project manager.
